73. Thomas Jefferson³ Boyd (Martin Luther², Jeremiah¹)⁽²⁵⁰⁾ was born in Illinois July 25, 1865.⁽²⁵¹⁾ Tom died February 14, 1912 Benton Co., Arkansas, at 46 years of age.⁽²⁵²⁾ Tom is thought to have died from Tuberculosis, apparently after assisting others in tearing down an old house where former occupants had suffered from Tuberculosis. His son Edwin was told that Tom died from pneumonia. Perhaps both were factors. His body was interred Benton Co., Arkansas, Centerton Cemetary.⁽²⁵³⁾

He married Mary Elizabeth McKenzie Benton Co., Arkansas, August 5, 1888.⁽²⁵⁴⁾ Mary was born May 23, 1871 Benton Co., Arkansas.⁽²⁵⁵⁾ Her birthplace was near Centerton. Mary⁽²⁵⁶⁾ was the daughter of David Calvin Calhoun McKenzie and Nancy Jane Allison.

Mary died January 9, 1963 Bentonville, Benton Co., Arkansas, at 91 years of age.⁽²⁵⁷⁾ She passed away at Bates Memorial Hospital.

Her body was interred January 13, 1963 Benton Co., Arkansas, Centerton Cemetary.⁽²⁵⁸⁾

Thomas Jefferson Boyd and Mary Elizabeth McKenzie had the following children:

+ 142 i. David Luther⁴ Boyd was born November 12, 1889.

143 ii. Stephen Lee Boyd⁽²⁵⁹⁾ was born January 30, 1892.⁽²⁶⁰⁾ Steve died May 11, 1965 in Mount Pleasant Cem., Benton Co., AR, at 73 years of age.⁽²⁶¹⁾ His body was interred in Buhl, Idaho, Buhl Cemetary.⁽²⁶²⁾ He married Gertrude.

+ 144 iii. Alta Ann Boyd was born March 22, 1894.

145 iv. John Boyd was born September 16, 1897.⁽²⁶³⁾ Johnnie died May 26, 1898 at less than one year of age.⁽²⁶⁴⁾ His body was interred Benton Co., Arkansas, Centerton Cemetary.⁽²⁶⁵⁾

+ 146 v. Georgia Gertrude Boyd was born January 31, 1900.

+ 147 vi. Elmer Erickson Boyd was born May 6, 1904.

+ 148 vii. Edwin Ormiston Boyd (still alive).
